Work History
At 19 years old, I realized that I was an artist and that, was what I was going to do for a living.
I then entered college (painting, drawing, print making). At 20, I had a vision of a geometric nature which
prompted me to pursue kinetic sculpture. After working in the sculpture studio at college for several terms,
I was exposed to stone carving. That first day of stone carving in 1980 set my course in art till the present day.
I worked in Haifa, Israel as the Ornament Specialist where I was responsible for the creation, replication,
maintenance, documentation, inventory and facilities creation for a collection of 550 outdoor ornaments as well
as numerous indoor objects and architectural detail in stone, metal and wood. In Israel, Maine and
Ashland, Oregon, I have built bronze casting and stone carving facilities. Castings have ranged
from miniature to monumental in size. I do private work, commissioned work, and
execute the work of other artists.
